IHE produces and distributes publications that relate to the environment and sustainable development in China.

IHE is currently offering the following publications:

1. The Trans-Century Green Engineering Plan. This volume is the full Green Plan for Phase One, covering through the year 2000.

"The plan is a project-oriented manifesto for alleviation of environmental and ecological destruction, concentrating first in priority areas. In this phase of the plan alone, over 1,400 projects have been identified and appraised, worth an estimated 183 billion RMB (about US$22 billion). Demonstration projects will be designated, which can be expected to attract central government support for quick implementation. Domestic allocations of funds have been made for a sizable share of the total required estimated investment." The National Environment Protection Agency of China (NEPA) wrote and published this volume.
